I spent 18 years as a paramedic with the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust dealing with major incidents such as the London City bombing, Canary Wharf bombing, Paddington train crash and many terrorist attacks.
I dealt with the following on a daily basis; road traffic collisions, cardiac arrests and shootings, but on a nicer note I have delivered several hundred babies over the years.
I have developed excellent communication skills dealing with patients (and families), doctors, nurses and also working alongside the police service, fire service and voluntary services.
I am Defibrillator and Oxygen therapy trained.
I am the first aid training co-ordinator, which involves recruiting new team members and cadets.
I am a panelled judge on many horse societies, officiating at shows throughout the UK and Scotland and have bred, produced and shown horses for over 20 years therefore gained knowledge to help committees and organisations decide their individual needs for their events.
I have excellent communication and organisational skills gained not only from my years within the equine world but from working within secretarial and administration environments.
